Experience & Expertise

Mr. Turman has more than 10 years of leadership experience spanning corporate initiatives, nonprofit management, and development strategy. He brings expertise in program and project management, organizational compliance, donor and stakeholder engagement, pipeline development, grant acquisition, budgeting, and data‑driven operations.

Mr. Turman currently serves as the IFAS Director of Corporate Initiatives responsible for overseeing enterprise strategy execution, capability development, and cross‑functional coordination to advance company growth objectives. In this capacity, he leads IFAS’ quality and cyber security improvement efforts to include the company’s ISO and CMMC certifications. He is responsible for directing policy standardization, documentation, and internal control alignment to meet and maintain federal requirements.

Previously, Mr. Turman served as Executive Director of The Arches to Better Economic Empowerment (TABEE), functioning as the organization’s chief development lead while overseeing fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and program expansion. He established the TABEE Need‑Based Scholarship Fund, launched the “NextGEN Leadership Academy,” and built partnerships with regional education and community organizations—while leading communications, branding, budgeting, and operational planning to align resources with mission impact.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Turman was a Sales Executive with Professionals for Nonprofits Staffing Group, providing talent solutions across the Washington, DC region and developing KPI‑driven approaches to client acquisition and retention.

Mr. Turman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
