Alex Lesperance has more than 20 years of progressive work experience in the areas of talent acquisition and recruiting initiatives, benefits selection, design and administration, employee relations, training and development, performance management, organizational development, compliance and employment law, new hire and benefit orientation programs, and the development and implementation of new human resources initiatives and programs.
Prior to being promoted to her role as Human Resources Manager with IFAS, Ms. Lesperance served as the Lead Talent Acquisition Manager where she was successful at establishing and building consultative and collaborative business relationships with hiring managers to successfully understand business needs and provide effective staffing support. She developed the talent acquisition strategy to include procurement and implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS), training hiring managers on the use of ATS, identifying selection and interviewing best practices, writing job postings, and sourcing new opportunities to network and recruit new talent to develop the candidate pipeline.
Prior to joining IFAS, Ms. Lesperance served as a Recruiter for Chenega Corporation where she demonstrated success with high-volume incumbent capture as well as aggressive short turn-around staffing as needed on several federal government contracts. She regularly consulted with project managers on hiring needs and provided excellent customer service.
Additionally, prior to joining Chenega Corporation, Ms. Lesperance worked for other large government contractors such as General Dynamics and Computer Sciences Corporation in various HR and Talent Acquisition roles.
Ms. Lesperance holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
